Main Hall

The main hall makes up most of the space and is directly in front of you when you enter the foyer. It is currently used by a variety of clubs and meetings and has also hosted wedding receptions and special events.

The hall boasts a large stage area perfect for live music and theatre productions underneath a stunning curved roof. The sound and lighting have both recently been upgraded.

We have a state of the art music/PA system and offer Bluetooth connectivity to any internet enabled device.

New sound boards have recently been installed which greatly improves music quality.

The dimensions of the main hall are:
Width - 9 meters
Length - 18 meters
Height - 5 meters

Main Entrance and Toilets

The main entrance to Southbourne Village Hall is step-free making it easily accessible. The main foyer has access via double doors to the main hall.

Separate male and female toilets are available, with an additional accessible toilet and shower (also available as a changing facility).

Sutcliffe Room (Meeting Room)

This small meeting room is used by many clubs and organisations in Southbourne. The room is equipped with a fixed smart whiteboard and a projector, which is ideal for presentations. Wi-fi is free.

Width - 3.3 meters
Length - 8 meters

The Kitchen

The Village Hall includes a large, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is open plan, which incorporates a serving hatch into the main hall, a dishwasher, a water boiler for hot drinks, a large cooker, fridge/freezer and a microwave.

We have jugs for serving drinks at parties.

Tea, Coffee and Sugar also available.

The kitchen also has serving equipment, crockery and cutlery, glasses and mugs are also available for your special events.

Hirers are always advised to check before their event to ensure the kitchen and its equipment meets their needs.
